Computer Literacy

RLC offers free in-person classes to help you learn to use a computer. We offer instruction from very basic skills to intermediate levels.

Our friendly, bilingual instructor will work at your pace, so you don’t feel rushed or pressured. We welcome all students, including people who have little to no experience with technology and seniors. Our classes are also available in Spanish.

You can work with a tutor one-on-one to master computer basics like using email or apps, setting up accounts, staying secure with good passwords and learning to use basic programs.

More advanced students can enroll in “Computer Essentials”, which teaches you to use Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel plus Google Workspace. This program leads to a certificate for your resume.

Most classes are held at our Racine office at 734 Lake Ave, but we sometimes offer these at satellite locations such as local schools through our Family Literacy program.

To sign up, fill out a registration. These classes are open on a continuous basis, subject to space availability.
